Collective Innovation to Fight Climate Change

November 2022 | Newsletter #4

Welcome to Newsletter #4 of  EU Erasmus+ project Collective Innovation to Fight Climate Change (Fight Climate Change).

Our project will develop a set of tools that will educate educators on the topic of climate change.

It will also upskill entrepreneurs and SMEs on how to use the innovation management process in developing their sustainability strategies to contribute to the fight against climate change, and  guide them on becoming agents of change for their colleagues and employees.

Throughout 2022 to date, the FCC Project Consortium has been involved in various activities. Together with our partners, we continue to advance in the practices to fight climate change. We have recently published the 'Climate Change & Sustainable You' Handbook, an extensive climate change and sustainability guide aimed at educating and informing business, employers and their employees about the importance of fair practices for the climate and planet conservation. We also held the fourth meeting of the Collective Innovation for the Fight against Climate Change Project, held in Piraeus (Greece) which was attended by all representatives of all the organizations participating in the project.

The fourth edition of our newsletter compiles the latest projects and initiatives which the project partners have been involved in, as well as key climate change news and upcoming events.

Projects and Initiatives
The 'Climate Change & Sustainable You Handbook' has been published

The Fight Climate Change & Sustainable You handbook developed by the FCC project provides a well structured and easy-to-digest systematic guidance tailored to educators working with entrepreneurs and SMEs, and presents information about climate change and sustainable development goals in order to transfer this knowledge to businesses and people they work with.

The Handbook aims to improve awareness of climate change, but also strengthen the capacities of educators to integrate this knowledge into their coaching/tutoring sessions. Moreover, the handbook builds on the work of a variety of organisations in the fields of climate change, UN SDGs and sustainability around the world that have already shared their research and understanding about these topics through various initiatives.

Read and download the handbook here and share it with other educators!
