U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib visits ADW member Dearborn Heights to discuss Ecorse Creek

In October, U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Detroit), representatives from Gary Peters’ office, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials and Wayne County officials met with Dearborn Heights Mayor Bill Bazzi to discuss flood-related concerns on the bank of Ecorse Creek. The group discussed the multi-faceted plan consisting of short, medium, and longer-range efforts to mitigate flooding.
