I wanted to write and give a quick update on the marvelous fall that Grace & Glory has had because of our awesome board members and supporters (YOU!). 

In October, we were able to raise over $2,000 for our general fund through two fundraisers. Our awesome board member, Kristin Wall organized another successful event for the Mount Juliet community. On October 29th, she held the first annual Providence Witches’ Ride and there was a wonderful turnout.

Last, but not least – Louis Kim, another amazing board member, raised $1,320 in September for our general fund! His objective read, “Beginning on September 1st 2022, I will bike 1 mile for every $5 I raise in the month of August 2022. I've decided to show my gratitude for life by helping to raise money for a worthy cause and pay the price through physical suffering, which you can vicariously enjoy "wink emoji".” Thank you, Louis!! 

That brings our fundraising total to around $3,459 for the fall. Thank you for supporting us in this season! 

Our staff in Haiti has been excited to welcome the students back into the school for academic enrichment this month. This means they are in the classroom learning and receiving nourishment daily! The Haitian government has not opened the schools back up, but we have decided to provide opportunities to combat learning loss and get a headstart on the school year. There is no telling of when the schools will fully open back up yet, but we will keep you updated as we find out more. The violence, fuel shortages, and overall distress in Haiti has not lightened. Please keep the country in your thoughts and prayers at this time!

Due to this situation, we have been unable to provide sponsorship assignments but we are beginning the process while we serve our students in the interim. If you have not received information on your student, expect to receive an email before the end of November! If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to reach out.
