School Threats
We take student and faculty safety at West Lake Stem Jr. High very seriously. All threats are referred to the police officer and district officials. We are working closely with everyone to ensure the learning happens as usual. Thank you for your support and we appreciate your patiences.

We have continued to see an increase in students coming in late to various classes throughout the day. This causes a disruption to the class and detracts from student learning. We are asking for your support to encourage your students to get to class before the 5 minute bell rings and to be in their assigned seat. We want to remind parents and students that there are consequences for habitual tardiness. Thank you for supporting the school at home as well.

The basketball teams have finalized their rosters. The girls basketball team will practice at West Lake, while boys will be practicing at Taylorsville Recreation Center.
Please be advised that students who make the team will be charged an activity fee. The first game will be on November 21st (11/21). Our students will be facing Kearns Jr. for their first game. All games start no later than 3:15pm.
All basketball games are AWAY games. Students will be dropped off at: 3175 S 3450 W, West Valley City, UT 84119. This is the closest to the original community that we can get students. Students can walk from there or will need to be picked up by a parent no later than 4:30 pm.
