Originally our registration deadline was Nov. 23. In Monday's Memo Monday, I moved it to Nov. 18. I can take registrations until Nov. 23, or until the event is full, but I believe it will be full before Nov. 23.
Technology Day is a new event offered by Washington TSA, on Dec. 7, at the Boeing Future of Flight in Everett. The day is open to all TSA or potential TSA members. We will run a series of workshops and competitive events throughout the day. Workshops are for advisors as well as students, and clock hours will be available. Cost is $60 per person, and lunch will be provided.
This event is capped at 400 participants, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Students can participate in up to 2 workshops, and/or up to 3 competitive events (based on schedule).
Advisors are welcome to participate in up to 2 of the available workshops, and clock hours will be available.
ADVISORS - if you want to participate in workshops, you will have to enter yourself twice! First, as an advisor, and select the "Advisor w/o workshops" option from the drop-down menu. Then you will have to enter yourself using the Add Student button, select "Advisor" from the drop-down menu, and select your workshops. If you have secondary advisors who want to attend, and/or participate in workshops, you will have to register them using the Add Student button, select "Advisor" from the drop-down menu as well.
You will only be charged once per person, but it won't let you submit your registration unless you do it that way.
When I send you your Quickbooks invoice, I will make the adjustments accordingly.
VEX Robotics
At the National level, TSA partners with VEX Robotics, and Robotevents. They just renewed that partnership for an additional 2 years.
Registering your TSA VEX team(s)
We did receive good news about your team registration.
If you are going to compete in regular VEX events, outside of TSA, you will still need to register on robotevents.org and pay the registration fees.

Washington-Only Competitive Events
All of the state-only competitive events are updated and available, including the Robotics Challenge for MS & HS. State-only events are those that we run in Washington, but students can't qualify for Nationals, because they are not national-level events.
The State Officer Mentoring Program is taking application forms now. This is a great program for those students in your chapter ready to take their leadership skills to the next level, or who might be interested in running for TSA state office. Individual mentoring starts now, group mentoring starts in November.
Are you ready to affiliate, but don't have students yet?
I know some of you want to affiliate with TSA now, to have access to competitive event guides and leadership resources, but don't have student names yet. That's ok, follow these steps to affiliate now:
Confirm your level of affiliation - Red (10+1), White (11 to 35), Blue (unlimited)
"Graduate" all students
If you know they are gone, select "drop"
Otherwise, keep them until you know for sure. You are NOT paying for them now!
If they graduated, or moved from MS to HS, you can select that option.
Confirm all of your chapter and advisor information, addresses, by selecting the red tabs.
When you are done, select the Members tab.
Make sure all student names are NOT selected.
Select the red Submit Membership button.
This will bring up your invoice.
If you scroll down, you can pay now with a credit card, get the link to pay later, or print the invoice to pay with a check/PO.
To locate the invoice again, go to the Invoices and Payments tab.
