Membership Council Meetings
The quarterly Member Council meetings will occur on 28/29 November.
Member Council meetings are an opportunity for Member organisations to come together and share ideas and tips for building Carpentries community locally. The Carpentries staff will also present a quarterly update on new programs, opportunities, and other topics of interest to Member organisations.
We will meet at two times to accommodate global time zones. Meeting times and connection information are available on our Etherpad and through our community calendar. Please note that the meetings for this quarter are shifted to avoid a national holiday in the United States
In-person workshops are back!
The Workshop Administration Team is excited to announce that we are planning to offer in-person workshops. The Core Team created a working group to help identify the steps needed to safely transition back to our "old norm". To help us prepare, you may see a few pilot workshops on the Instructor Signup Sheet. We do hope that you will sign up to teach and share feedback of the experience.
We will be hosting a Themed Community Discussion on Wednesday, 16 November 2022 15:00 UTC and Friday, 18 November 2022 00:00 UTC. Be sure to signup on the Etherpad to be a part of the discussion.
