A Weekend Away for Marriages
Our church family is made up of folks who are single, married, divorced, widowed, dating, engaged and any other status I missed. Each one of these stages is unique and my hope is that our church community can encourage folks in all of these places in one way or another. Having said that, a decent portion of our church is in the "married status", but not all of those marriages have the same status if you know what I mean. As all relationships do, marriages have seasons of scarcity and abundance.

This is why I'm  excited that we will have A WEEKEND AWAY to give a little boost of encouragement and connection for married couples. I have put some details below and I hope that you would join us for this new tradition we are starting. If you know a married couple who is not  connected with another church and might benefit from this, then take a  minute to send them the information as a way to help them connect with others!

This week's Journal prompt:
What were you taught about cleanliness when you were growing up?
Nancy Miller's Deacon post is called "Hope Cares." Part of that ministry is encouraging others to journal. Each week in the newsletter we will have a new prompt. Click here to get more information about journaling.
** Journals will be on the connections table each week if you would like to pick one up!
Sunday Message: Sunday’s message discussed Mark 5, and we find Jesus choosing to go into a place of chaos to heal a man. This passage reminds us of of Jesus’ authority over spiritual forces, and the radical ways he sets us free! Listen and be encouraged.
Hope Nursery: This Fall Hope Nursery Kids (walkers-age 5) are learning to be young worshippers. Each week the kids are learning about an important part of Sunday worship. This group meets during the entirety of the service each week. For more information, contact Maggie@hopeforwilmington.com.
Hope Elementary: This group is for kindergarten- 5th graders, and the lessons for this age group will be offered every week. Students will start out with their families in worship, and they are released to join their group during the announcements. This is a great time for this age group to learn to become young worshippers. For more information, contact Shay@hopeforwilmington.com.
