Baby galagos – often called bushbabies – are tiny! With big eyes and huge ears, these nocturnal prosimians are found throughout Africa. Like other primates, when bushbabies need help, PASA member sanctuaries come to the rescue.
In the wild, a baby galago would be fed by its mother for 50 days. During this time, these little ones are completely dependent on their mothers.

Sadly, galagos live in increasingly populated areas. With more human contact, they are victims of hit and run car accidents, or are tragically electrocuted on high voltage fences. More and more infants are being left orphaned due to these horrific accidents.

When a mother galago is killed, the orphaned baby needs your help. Your donation today will let PASA members give them the care they need to survive this shock and return to the wild.

A $20 donation can feed a bushbaby for a week!
I'll feed a bushbaby!
Galagos make all kinds of sounds, including the baby-like cry that earned them the bushbaby nickname. They buzz, chatter, chirrup, yap, and screech! But there’s a special sound that a baby makes when it wants its mother – a click! When they meet, they touch noses.
While nothing will replace the warm nose bump from its mother, with your help, more orphaned galagos will get a second chance at life. They make great candidates to return to the wild, too. Your donation will mean more galagos catching insects in the forest at night, the way it should be.
Each dollar you give will help a baby galago and other primate orphans recover from trauma. Give what you can today!
Sincerely,
Kelly O'Meara

P.S. Galagos are one of the smallest primate species our members care for. Even a $10 donation can help feed and rehabilitate an orphan.
