Construction Update
Due to delays with sheet metal there will be no Heating or Air conditioning in the Sanctuary space for few weeks. Please dress accordingly.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding for these factors that are outside our control. While there will be some temporary discomfort as we proceed with this and our other sanctuary renovations, the rewards of our renewed sanctuary space will be immense.

A Message from Fr. George

Our Destiny
“At the end of time, we will all be judged on love.” St. John of the Cross
Everything shall pass, what we will face in the future is one thing nobody can fully know. “You do not know the day nor the hour, that the Son of Man will come”, Jesus exclaims to his disciples. Why do we need to talk about the end of times, how is this significant to our faith life?
Many theologians writing about the teaching on “Eschatology” (from the Greek eschatos meaning last), especially St. Augustine, would emphasize that the core principle that looking at the end times must always be in the mindset that everything is always rooted in the power of God. This discernment should always result in us connecting our beings and lives to the one who created us. God the Creator of our beginning is also the end point of all things!
As we closed our liturgical calendar, let us pray to the loving God that we may be given the grace to realize that in Jesus we can continually appreciate a look back to our past in order to celebrate the present and anticipate the future with hope. When we keep God’s word in our hearts, truly we are walking on the right path to forever and eternal life.
Fr George

Diabetes affects the lives of millions of people and is one of the leading causes of death or disability in the U.S.
Diabetes occurs when the body cannot produce insulin, an important hormone, to carry blood glucose to the cells for energy. Without enough insulin too much blood glucose builds up and overtime can cause serious health problems such as heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, blindness and nerve damage. See the parish nurse bulletin board for more information on the 4 types of diabetes and how to lower your risk of developing this disease and “How To Live Well with Diabetes”.

Commitment Is Getting Cancelled
|
|
You’ve probably heard the phrase “cancel culture”—the phenomenon where public figures get “cancelled” for something they say or do in an effort to silence them. Well, today, Fr. Mike proposes the existence of a new and rising cancel culture—a culture where we cancel everything.
