The Oral History Project

It’s been a fantastic year for TWHP’s Oral History Project !

To date, our team has interviewed twenty-three of Toronto’s finest labour leaders, scholars and activists.

A significant bank of interviews still needs to be completed, however, and we need more folks willing to help conduct interviews.

Most interviewees are retired labour leaders; willing to share their breadth of knowledge and experiences with us.

Interviews happen over Zoom and typically last about one hour. TWHP can provide support and training if needed.

There’s no long-term commitment, just the opportunity to learn and preserve Toronto’s rich labour history.
