Savannah is famous for its parades and Veteran's Day is no exception! What is an exception for this year is a bit of a storm has moved it to Saturday, November 12. Join Fr. Craig and Tony Cela as they extend an invitation from The Dive to ride in the 2022 parade.

If you are interested in representing CCA on a trolley, please be at the church Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. to join in celebrating and honoring our veterans.

CATECHESIS

Nuts & Bolts of Worship: Introduction to Anglican Liturgy
Tuesday, December 6, 6 PM, Hebron Hall

Do you ever wonder why do we do what we do in worship? Join Fr. Bryan for this special class on the history and theology of liturgical worship in the Anglican tradition. Class begins with light refreshments at 6 p.m. in Hebron Hall followed by interactive teaching in the Nave.

LIFE TOGETHER

Renew: A Seat at the Table
Saturday, November 12, 9:30 - 11:30 AM

How wonderful it would be if Jesus came to our homes for a meal as he often did with people? Sharing thoughts around the table allows for deeper conversation and relationships. With those things in mind, Renew has a new format and location. Please come to the Whitefield Center and join other women in small groups around a table for food and thoughtful fellowship. We will look at scripture where Jesus visited in peoples homes for a meal and discuss the scriptures and application to our lives.

Contact: Louise Mehl if you have any questions.

Can we take your picture . . . PLEASE?
Quick Photography Sessions in the Nave Every Sunday in November!
9:15 - 10 AM& Noon - 1:30 PM- Meet Valerie in front of the Altar

As we transition to a new database, we would love the opportunity to get a quick picture of EACH family/person in our congregation. Plan to either arrive early or stay late to get a quick shot taken. We will do our best to make this as fun & quick as possible! Our goal is to have full participation from the congregation, so please make plans to be photo ready…but do not stress, God made you beautiful!!! However, showering before church is always a nice goal ;)

Community Groups = Fun for Everyone!

As a growing congregation, we are thrilled to offer several opportunities to dig deep & plant roots by joining a community group. Every group is different - and that is what is pretty amazing about these groups. There is no one size fits all…but you are bound to find a group that meets your needs in your season of life. Groups vary in size and location, with some meeting weekly and others meeting bi-weekly. We encourage you to review the list of community groups and reach out to a community group leader to learn more about that specific group! Need assistance with finding a group or do not know where to start?

Reach out to Valerie Hanks via email, she is happy to help!

Praying for SAMS* . . . not Sam's Club
Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders*

As a congregation during Prayers of the People on Sundays, we are invited to rotate our focus each month to highlight a specific ministry or ministries that represent our core values as a body of believers. During the month of November our corporate prayers during worship will invite a focus on SAMS (Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders) and Janine LeGrand, a SAMS missionary who has been mentoring our very own Cathy Clevenger (CCA member) who is now a SAMS missionary in Uganda! It is amazing how God knits us together so beautifully all over the world! Please take a moment to learn more about how God is using SAMS, Janine LeGrand and Cathy Clevenger to participate in the Great Commission.

Monthly Healing Prayer Service
Thursday, November 17, 7 PM, The Nave

Our monthly healing services invite the healing presence and touch of the Lord into our lives, families, church, and community. We offer prayers for healing for body, soul, spirit and relationships. At our services, there is no calling people out, requirement to identify needs, say anything or get out of your seat. We pray for healing for the congregation, and if those present would like to receive personal prayer, what they share is confidential and completely voluntary. Join us to receive the Lord’s healing and to offer your prayers for others.

Collect for the Week
The 23rd Sunday after Pentecost

Stir up, O Lord, the wills of your faithful people, that bringing forth in abundance the fruit of good works, they may be abundantly rewarded when our Savior Jesus Christ comes to restore all things; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.  Amen.

(From the ACNA 2019 Book of Common Prayer)
"For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake."
2 Corinthians 4:5
