We had been in communication with the Cypress Cove Muckety-Mucks for the past seven months -- heck, since LAST DECEMBER! -- about our plans for a Cove Apple Club Holiday Party in Lakeside Restaurant this December.
We were hopeful as recently as last month that our event would be one of the first to be held in the newly-reopened building, but due to delays in the re-opening of the restaurant, we're making the executive decision to postpone our party until March.
We were given a last-minute option to throw the party in the Clubhouse or Game Room instead, but we just don't think those spaces have the room we need for the crowd we're expecting, plus a proper bar, dance floor, and enough room for schmoozing and frolicking.
So rather than settle with half-measures, we're going to cross all our fingers and hope that Lakeside is finally re-opened next March, a little less than three years after it closed due to the pandemic.
So for now, please use the pink rubber end of your pencil to rub out your plans for the party on December 7, and ever-so-lightly pencil in the new date of Wednesday, March 1, 2023, starting at 5:30pm, at Lakeside Restaurant (we hope).

The date of our November meeting is changing.
We had originally planned to get together on Wednesday, November 9th, but a couple of factors are requiring us to switch to a new date, one week later.
So mark your dance card for the evening of Wednesday, November 16, 2022, starting promptly at 7pm. As always, we'll be at the Clubhouse here at beautiful Cypress Cove, and we'll even try to take our show onto the internet with a simulcast on Zoom.
