Altar Art Team: As a member of the Altar Art Team, you will create and design the sanctuary altar to correlate with the worship theme.

Social Justice Sunday School

The Racial and Social Justice Sunday School class is a place where adults gather to talk about how Christ-followers can seek justice and equity for everyone. We are passionate about following Jesus’ example of radically loving one another. We use a book chapter to guide discussion, but pre-reading is NOT a pre-requisite. We welcome all adults and enjoy listening and learning together.

We meet as follows: First, third, and fourth Sundays at 11:00 am (or directly after worship) until noon

Women of Wisdom (WOW) - Women's Group

Travis Park Church Women of Wisdom (WOW) welcomes all. The group leader and active members have confirmed this is a safe and inclusive space for transgender, non-binary and all friends that wish to be a part of our group. Methodist Federation for Social Action (MFSA) and Reconciling Ministries Network (RMN)

Travis Park Church has an active Methodist Federation for Social Action (MFSA) and Reconciling Ministries Network (RMN) Group that meets together monthly.

Travis Park Church is a reconciling congregation, and has an active Reconciling Ministries Network (RMN) Committee RMN is an organization of reconciling congregations and groups worldwide. For information, contact Rachel Jennings or join our group on REALM.

Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (TCADP)

While this is not an official ministry led by Travis Park Church, many of our members are active participants in the San Antonio Chapter of TCADP and attend peaceful protests.

Puente Pal Doll Making Ministry

The purpose of Puente Pal dolls is to provide comfort and a pillow for children who are migrating from one home to the next. We usually meet every third Sunday at 11:00 am in the Labyrinth Room of Travis Park Church.

(Keep an eye out in case of changes of location.) No required experience needed. New friends always welcome! Our next meetings will be November 13*, December 18, 2022. *Note this is not the third Sunday.

Explorers of Travis Park

This group is simple...we do things together! Do you enjoy exploring the outdoors, craft fairs, new restaurants, sports, concerts and community? This group is for you if you want to join in the fun! The mission of this group is to find common activities to enjoy, meet new friends, and strengthen our relationships. You don’t need to be a member of the church to participate. Friends are welcome!
