Dear Friends,

We just got the great news: we won! 

This has been a contentious year. There was so much on the ballot. Democracy was on the ballot. Human rights were on the ballot. Inclusion and equity were on the ballot. Decency and kindness were on the ballot.  The good news is, it prevailed! 

I am overwhelmed with gratitude to all of you, whether you canvassed, made phone calls, held signs, hosted a lawn sign, or reached out to your friends and neighbors about the campaign. I'm deeply grateful to my team, who have gone above and beyond to reach voters, and especially to family and my husband Nate, who have literally been with me every step of the way, And I’m grateful to everyone who turned out to vote! 

I always say that your vote is your voice.  And today you voiced your choice for democracy, for equal rights, for reproductive freedom, and for inclusion.
