Greetings from Wyler Antiques!

Today's Announcement will be continuing the theme of Thanksgiving. As it is fast approaching, we have several articles from our inventory we think would look lovely on your table for that special and delicious Thanksgiving meal!!

Starting off our Announcement is this handsome Antique George III English Silver Sauce Boat. Quite graceful in design with a plain body and a gadroon border, it has a wonderful acanthus detailed flying scroll C handle. Sauce boats always look so wonderful on a table as well as being useful. This one is no exception.

This 20th-century English Sterling Silver Sauce Boat is a wonderful copy of a Georgian style. In fact, it is an exact replica of the Sauce Boat that is mentioned above. The only difference between the two Sauce Boats is the dates when they were made and the prices!

To complement either one of these Silver Sauce Boats, we have an elegant Antique Victorian Silver Plate Sauce Ladle. It is decorated in the 'Old English' pattern. Although it is quite simple, its rounded terminal makes it look very elegant. This pattern has always been quite popular and it is now one of the most sought-after patterns that people want to acquire.

We are quite fortunate to have this striking pair of Antique Victorian Silver Plate Sauce Boats. They feature plain baluster bodies and have a Chippendale border. Residing on three hoof feet makes them sturdy as well as quite attractive.
To complement the pair of Sauce Boats that we just described, we have this lovely pair of Antique Victorian Silver Plate Sauce Ladles in the "Bead" pattern. This workmanship features a simple and elegant beaded border in the Neoclassical style. This pattern will add grace and style to either a modern or traditional table setting.
Our Antique 18th century Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Sauce Boat is our 4th description of sauce boats. Gilt painting is quite prevalent throughout this piece. The decoration includes the monogram which is quite vibrant with its wonderful color tones.

Other items that belong on a festive Holiday table are salts and peppers. We are very lucky to have several of them for you to choose from.

Trencher Salt Cellars have been in use for many centuries. Both pairs of our salts are Trencher Salt Cellars.

The first one we will present is this lovely pair of English Silver 20th-century square cut-cornered Trencher Salts. They are replicas of a highly desirable early Georgian style, circa 1720. These salt cellars have gilded interiors and are also being sold with an elegant pair of Georgian Silver Salt Spoons.
We also have this stunning pair of George II, Antique English Silver Salt Cellars that are quite handsome in design. These Salt Cellars are a classic elongated octagonal Trencher Form with stable incurved corners. They also have an oval sunken well in the center which is quite typical of that period.
To complement salt cellars on the table, we have this very attractive set of 4 American Silver Pepper Casters. They are designed in a plain oval form and are set on an oval reeded spreading foot. It is always nice to have a set of 4 Silver Peppers on the table and these are no exception.

We know that silver looks wonderful on any table. However, we do not want to forget about using porcelain pieces that add color to the lovely table setting. This would be a 19th-century Antique Chinese Covered Sugar Bowl and having the choice of two 19th-century Antique Chinese Rose Mandarin Creamers.

A charming 19th-century Antique Chinese Covered Sugar Bowl, with its wonderful shape, is in the highly desirable Rose Mandarin pattern. With a wonderful color palette, the detail work on this piece is exceptional. It features birds, fruits, and flowers and is interspersed with scenes of people.

A very sweet 19th-century Antique Chinese Rose Mandarin Creamer. One of the features that make this piece quite special is that the creamer has a snout nose - this is what the pouring section is referred to. Colors are quite vibrant throughout this piece which helps show off the exceptional workmanship.

Our other lovely Antique 19th century Chinese Rose Mandarin Creamer is quite charming in design also. The inside rim of this creamer is decorated with peonies, daisies, birds, and insects as well as green leaves. Wonderful figural scenes are also featured on this creamer.

We hope that you have found this announcement interesting, enjoyable, and informative.
