Events Celebrating Medora's Old Fashioned Cowboy Christmas Planned at Chateau de Morès Interpretive Center


MEDORA, N.D. – The public is invited to celebrate Medora's Old Fashioned Cowboy Christmas Dec. 2-4 at Chateau de Morès State Historic Site, Medora. Held in conjunction with events in the Medora community, visitors can participate in a gingerbread competition voting and enjoy open house activities. All event times are Mountain time. Admission is free.

The Interpretive Center will host an open house Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Featured will be Eats on the Streets, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and Victorian Games and Crafts, 1-4 p.m. Vote in the 4th Annual Chateau Gingerbread Competition in person Dec. 2-3, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Dec. 4, 12-3 p.m. or any time at facebook.com/ChateauDeMores

The Chateau de Morès site and Interpretive Center near Medora is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
