In the Loop

 Ready to Run?

Experience a run on the Mother of all Roads! The Williams Route 66 Marathon showcases the best of what Tulsa has to offer on Sunday, November 20th, starting at 8 AM. The race will start in Downtown Tulsa, then make its way through Tulsa’s vibrant and diverse neighborhoods and the campus of The University of Tulsa. If there’s one thing you can count on at the Williams Route 66 Marathon, it’s tons of on-course support from the local community, coupled with plenty of fun! Neighborhoods host block parties all along the course to welcome and cheer on the runners.

The Williams Route 66 Marathon is a USATF-certified course and a Boston Qualifier (see Boston Athletic Association for qualifying times).

 Six the Musical at TPAC

From Tudor queens to pop icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix 500 years of historical heartbreak into a euphoric celebration of 21st-century girl power! SIX the Musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over! SIX has won 23 awards for the 2021-22 Broadway season, including the Tony Award® for Best Original Score (Music and Lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical.

SIX is coming to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center from November 23rd-27th. Get your tickets to this must-see show today!

 Bring Mom Downtown

Carefully curated by the MOTHERboard Society, MOMSGIVING is an intimate evening that celebrates sisterhood over a traditional, seated Thanksgiving dinner for Tulsa moms ranging from career-driven mothers to mother figures to adult daughters. The evening will include a gourmet holiday meal, cocktails, delectable desserts, music, a noted speaker (Tulsa Deputy Mayor Cassia Carr!), and best of all — the ability to engage in a spirit of thankfulness with Tulsa’s working-mom community.

Tickets start at $65; VIP tickets are $105 and include priority entry, VIP seating, an exclusive signature cocktail, and a special gift. Cocktail attire is requested at this women-only event.

 Always Discovering Culture in Downtown

Come give a warm welcome to one of Downtown Tulsa's newest spots: Bourbon Street Cafe at 211 E. 2nd St.! It's giving New Orleans courtyard vibes along with the finest Louisiana cooking and Dixieland jazz. Open 11 AM-1 AM, they have live music on weekends and offer other special events thoughout the year. We recommend their pineapple martini, Hush Puppies, seafood sauté, and the New Orleans bread pudding. Yum!

 We Want More Pizza!

Copaneazi's, the latest concept from Tony and Emily Galvez, owners of the Local Bison and Sandos Rockin' Deli, is now open at 522 S. Boston Ave. Copaneazi's specializes in wood-fire pizzas, most of which are vegetarian and vegan, in keeping with the Galvezes' other restaurants. Most of the pies have names inspired by mob movies, such as the Fughettaboutit and the Donnie Branco. Go eat some gangster pizza!
