Binding: More helpful info

There are many ways to bind a quilt, and we covered just a few in class. Here are links to videos that reinforce what you learned or sometimes show another method.

When I find a technique I like, I write down all the specifics so I don't have to reinvent that wheel the next time around. For online info, copy and paste the URL (that's the web address) and put it where you can find it later.

Facing instructions

Add facing to a quilt: simple instructions with photos
 
Facing is a useful technique when you don't want to add another line at the quilt's edge. Here's the front of this little basket quilt:
Binding wasn't what this quilt needed. The facing worked perfectly. Every little trick you can add to your skillset makes quilting that much more fun!
