Congrats! Katy Rene of Lehigh University - Forum Certified Professional

Meet Certified Professional Katy Rene

Congratulations to Lehigh University’s Katy Rene, on successfully completing the Professional Certification in Education Abroad Program.

Katy has effectively demonstrated the ability to articulate and apply the Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad, and a commitment to professional excellence and ethical conduct.

She explained: “The workshops and assessment exercises provided me with a deeper understanding of the Standards, which will help guide decisions about programs and policies as we scale back up following the height of the global pandemic. I found it useful to browse the many resources from other Forum partners in the Standards Toolbox as I worked through the assignments. I appreciate that the Toolbox provides access to best practices at other institutions, even when there isn't time to pick up the phone to compare notes when we hit a challenge or need to develop something new. Thank you to The Forum for providing this valuable training for education abroad professionals!”
