The Rise Up Journal

December 2022
Hello <<First Name>>!

The holidays are upon us. We want to pause and acknowledge that this may be a hard time of year for you, especially if you have lost your spouse and life partner recently. Or even if it has been many years. Be kind to yourself this season. Below we offer you some resources.

As we wrap up 2022, we invite you to start thinking about how you may want to live with intention in 2023. Join us for the Fire Up Your New Year program via Zoom on Thursday, January 12, 2023. More details below.

For those of you who attended the Modern Widows Club WEE2022 will remember Barbara Kenyon as one of the engaging speakers. Barbara will be interviewed by Paula Harris, in this live Zoom program, by diving into the secrets that Barbara uses with her clients as a business and personal coach. She is the co-author of “Fire Up Your Life Now!: 25 Secrets for Creating the Life You Really Want”. See below for more information.

Sending you grace and hope this holiday season.

Hugs,

Next time you're in a dark moment ask yourself, "what prayers have I found a source of comfort during this season of my life?"

After a loved one dies, red tape adds to the grief
In quick succession last spring, my family experienced three wrenching deaths: My brother-in-law died of a late-diagnosed cancer, my husband, Scott, died of a different late-diagnosed cancer and my mother died at age 100.
