Sage General Ledger May Allow Posting To Closed Period
I wish Sage would indicate in their knowledgebase which versions of Sage 100 specific issues apply to </rant off>
General Journal Entry posts to closed period if created but not posted prior to running Period End Processing.
Period End Processing in GL does not stop you when General Journal Entry or Transaction Journal Entry have existing entries in process like it does for DTR or other modules.

Work Order 2022 Must Wait To Migrate to Production Management 2023
This is an issue which likely doesn't impact too many users. If you have submitted a request to Sage for a copy of Work Order which is compatible with Sage 100 2022 ( only available by special request and to those with specific requirements ) then you won't be able to subsequently upgrade Work Order 2022 to Production Management 2022.
Instead, according to Sage, you'll need to wait for Sage 100 2023 before you can migrate your Work Order v2022 to Production Management 2023. This only impacts the small pool of users who might be on Work Order 2022. All prior versions of Work Order do offer migration to Production Management 2022.

If you're a payroll user who is curious about what changes Sage published for their payroll tax tables then you may want to review this list. These changes largely take effect 1-1-2023 and some of the changes list additional steps which may be needed.
Sage released an updated chart showing versions of Sage 100 compatible with an upcoming change at Sage.
Beginning in October 2023, Sage License Servers ( SLS ) will no longer accept communication using the less secure TLS 1.0 and 1.1 protocols. This means if your Sage 100 version is not at least one of those listed below you'll want to upgrade before October 2023.
After October 2023 if your Sage 100 ( subscription ) is not at one of the supported versions shown below your data may go into a read-only mode once your systems fails to login to SLS.
My suggestion is you set a goal to stay within 2 versions of the current release which is Sage 100 2022.
