Hello,

November already - how did that happen? The time has been flying as we have been planning some exciting events and supports.

Applications are now open for our next Peer Mentor training, which will take place in November/December. If you have experience with eating disorder recovery and have considered supporting others, our Peer Mentor program might be a great fit! For more information or to apply, click here.

On November 14th, we will host an in-person Exploring Comics Workshop with artist Mollie Cronin of Art Brat Comics. This workshop will take place at Cape and Cowl Comics in Sackville, NS. Join us for an introduction to comics basics and how comics can be used as a tool for telling our stories.

Our workshop on November 21st "I Think My Child Might Have an Eating Disorder" will be led by our Clinical Social Worker Angela Malcolm. If you have concerns about your child or teen, join for practical strategies and next steps.

Our final workshop of the month on November 28th is "Exploring Journaling", where we will explore the fun, insight, and freedom that journaling can offer. Ease us into the idea of journaling with us!

At Eating Disorders Nova Scotia, we are here to support you wherever you are on your journey, from our anonymous online chat, our Drop-in Peer Support Group, to individualized mentoring counselling and nutrition services.

Be kind, be brave.

Shaleen
