We are switching to digital COAs

At last, the DCC has recognized the environmental problems caused by their requirement for paper COAs. 
 

Every day, we print hundreds, if not thousands, of pieces of paper (as required by regulations) so that we could deliver the same COA to the same retailers over and over again.

Rejoice with us in reaching the digital age! As of November 10, 2022, the DCC made an amendment to §15306, allowing certificates of analysis to be shared electronically. This amendment also removed the requirement for distributors to have paper copies of the COA while transporting cannabis goods. The DCC's announcement and adopted regulations can be found here. The relevant passage states: §15306(c) The copies of the certificate of analysis required by this subsection may be provided electronically.

As a result of this welcome change to the regulations, Proof will no longer be providing printed COAs as of November 11, 2022.

Of course, we know that our retail partners still need to have access to these COAs, and we will make sure that you do. Here are a few ways our retail partners can ensure that they have every COA needed for all deliveries: 

1) In Metrc - The Foolproof Method
In Metrc, lab results are automatically associated with every child tag of a batch and can be found by:
a) clicking on the carrots to the left of a given manifest and then a given tag
b) clicking on the "Lab Results" tab, and
d) finding, on the right, the "Doc" button. Click to download the relevant COA in pdf form.

2) Direct from Proof
We know that having all the COAs in one place makes intake a lot easier and faster. We will be sure to send an email with every shipment that contains a zip folder with every COA in it. Keep a look out for an email from "Roshi" with subject line: "Shipment Details from Proof." If you have specific email addresses you want those COAs sent to, please let us know!
