The Message Stick is a regular update of key activities and developments in the WQPHN for Board Directors and Clinical & Consumer Advisory Council Members

15 November 2022

In this edition:

Sandy talks to us from her home in Winton

Over the last couple of weeks Sandy and members of the WQPHN team have been travelling throughout the Western Queensland region.

Key Items: For "Who’s who in WQ" we chat with John Cain, CEO of NWRH;
Launch of the "Germs are Yuck" campaign to improve vaccination rates in our patch, and assist our communities to combat germs and other bugs including COVID-19.
Message sticks have played an important part in communication between Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander groups across the immense Australian landscape for thousands of years and have survived as part of Australian cultural celebrations.
