Did we miss October? Yup, it's been busy around here

We are heading into the dark months up here and getting deep into Stick Season (as November is affectionately called here in Vermont)...and all I can think of is knitting with the coziest, softest yarn available! So many good choices out there, but we're going to offer you a little discount on Ella Rae Cashmereno Chunky yarn with discount code NLStickseason. This beautiful yarn (142y/100g 55% Merino Wool, 33% Acrylic,12% Cashmere) will keep you and your hands happy while you work. Enjoy!

New Market Pop-Ups coming after Thanksgiving

Check it out...we've got a great line-up so far and a few more slots
(if you're interested).
All Pop-ups will run from 11am to 3pm - come and shop local!

New yarns are here....

Have we shown you this beautiful new yarn from Queensland United? Their 100% Organic Shetland Lite in a fingering weight comes in a lot of luscious colors and we've been seeing a lot of it head out the door for beautiful patterns like this one (the Bonnie Isle Hat for Shetland Wool Week, designed by Linda Shearer)

Are you making Holiday socks? If not, should you be?!
West Yorkshire Spinners Signature yarns are here in the store to inspire you...

In other sock-making inspiration, we bring you Berroco Vintage Sock ...
lots of fun colors to choose from!

On the needles....

Or, more accurately, off the needles and on the assembly rack. I wanted to take a moment to share a pic of my almost assembled Welcome Blanket and share some information about this worthy (and crafty) cause. There's a local effort that's been going on this Fall and will be displayed at the Mill Museum in Winooski from Dec 1- Feb 26. We're a drop-off point, along with other local craft stores, and I was inspired to make one. This is part of a much larger series begun in 2017, and if you need to see some beautiful crafts that will make your heart sing for all the right reasons, take a look at  these images.... My humble effort is below and I'll share some more images when I go to the exhibition....  Crafting for a cause is a good thing even with the deadline looming!
That's it for now...we're prepping the next Seasons of Vermont box HARMONY, tentatively scheduled to be released on December 2nd (but stay tuned, subject to change!). Lots of fun stuff inside that - in the meantime,

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

and we'll hope to see you the very next day for our Pop-up Market or over the weekend on Small Business Saturday (and our 7th Anniversary)!!
