Dear <<First Name>>,

Did you know that most older adults would rather remain in their current home? A leaking roof, a rotting porch or even a staircase can make a home unsafe and day-to-day activities impossible. Whether it’s helping older adults stay in their chosen homes or helping in the wake of a natural disaster, we’ve been here, helping neighbors in Sandoval County with cost-saving, critical home repairs that make their homes safe and livable again.

Behind every front door is a neighbor with a story. Katie is a local community member who because of a cancer treatment was too weak to use her stairs. Rebuilding Together built a handrail for her front porch. Together we can make homes safer for neighbors like Katie.

Most of the neighbors we helped who suffered falls and near-falls did not fall again after our repairs, and 86% of our neighbors had a much easier time entering and exiting their home.

But for all we’ve done together – and believe me – we’ve done a lot, there are still too many neighbors in Sandoval County who are living in unsafe houses. With the skyrocketing cost of building supplies and skilled labor, some of these much-needed repairs are further out of reach than ever before.

Will you help us change that?

With your support, we can raise the funds we need to keep our projects going.

Thank you,
