HARVEST SUNDAY - "Called to Give"
Chris Goldman - Lead Pastor

November 13 is Harvest Sunday. It’s a day for encouraging generosity and supporting benevolence. The Holiday Feast from Friends bags you’ve been filling is a big part of this.

The Apostle Paul states, “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (Acts 20:35)

Churches often get bad press when it comes to money. Sadly, sometimes it’s warranted when reports reveal the scandalous misuse of funds. Northwest, however, is blessed with an entire team who works to ensure all finances are handled Godly and legally.

Churches also do a great deal of good for local communities as well as help with global needs. These good deeds are rarely reported because “good news” often doesn’t make the news.

Harvest Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate the blessing of giving and reignite our passion for people in need. Our giving makes a difference.

Your generosity is greatly appreciated and makes a difference.
Our goal of $10,000 helps fund our 2023 benevolent needs. This special contribution is in addition to your regular offerings. You can give online by using the link below.

Please bring your filled Bags Sunday morning, November 13. As you enter the Worship Center, check off your name on the list, and place your bags in front of the stage.
At approximately 6 pm on Sunday evening, we will open registration for people to sign up to receive a bag. A link will be prominently displayed on the front page of our website.
We will distribute our Holiday Feast from Friends bags on Saturday morning (Nov 19). If you would like to help with the distribution, please use the link below to let us know. We need volunteers to help with traffic control, greeting guests, Bible distribution, bag distribution, and a team to pray with and answer guest questions.
