Moving like the clouds, allowing light to flood in. Hood River, OR
Greetings <<First Name>>,

More change comes as we round into 2023.

Due to financial reasons in these challenging times, (amongst other reasons), I'll be taking on full time work. Apologies to those I've seen recently and didn't mention it to....I wasn't certain about the position, but it's solid now.

Where to?

It's pretty iconic.....I'll be the PT of San Quentin.

Crazy, I know. And it's happening quickly as they've been searching for a year (when I sought it out previously but ultimately wasn't ready). It landed back in my inbox again just a week ago.

Now I'm ready and it's checked all the boxes:
  • Unique and interesting (indeed!)
  • Serving an underserved population
  • Not involved with insurance (working for Luna has reminded me how bloody frustrating it is)
  • Good pay

So.....what will happen with Mind-Body Movement Center and Online Yoga? My training will likely start the second week of December with a full start date in January.

Client visits:
I'll keep the website and everything in place for now as this is a contract job which I can either back out of or continue onward in 6 months. I'm hoping I'll love it. 🤞

I may be able to offer very limited evening appointments to current clients, into December and onwards. I just have no idea how I'm going to feel at the end of a day with this population and this setting.

I have some outstanding physical therapy colleagues that I'd like to refer you to:
Romy Havard in Orinda: https://peregrinept.org/
Liz Gillem Duncanson in Oakland: https://bodytemplept.com/
Liz Williams in Oakland: https://www.lizwilliamspt.com/

Online yoga:
I won't be able to teach Live classes. This may start as early as the 2nd week of December. I'll be contacting those that attend to let me know about possible evening classes into December.

My On-Demand Library will remain up at least until April 2023 (and beyond if people keep using it). You can transition memberships to Membership 1 if you would like to continue using the hundreds of classes and practices on there.

For Live Online/ In-person options:

I know this is sudden, believe me, I know. Life altering in so many ways, but I'm nervously excited for the challenge.

I know this may be a shock to many of you. This decision has been a long time in the percolator and didn't come about suddenly. Apparently you were losing me to either Oregon or prison. Haha. I'm grateful for your support and to have served you over the last 10+ years.  But I'm not gone....I'm still here and available, just in a different capacity.

Please reach out with any questions about anything above.

Peace ✌️ ☮️  In.
Moving onward, FEARLESSLY,
