This is just a reminder about our upcoming concert Piano Music from Baroque to Contemporary on Friday 18th November at 6pm.
Christiane Behn (professor of piano at Hamburg Conservatory) and Yannick Fiß (pupil of Christiane in Hamburg, currently attending Wells Cathedral School) will play piano works including Beethoven's Tempest Sonata, Chopin's Revolution Etude, compositions by Bach, Wieck, Schumann. Brahms, Debussy and Schönberg. The programme will explore the ways in which ideas flowed between all of these composers.
The concert will also feature spectacular works for four hands - Brahms' Waltz No.15 and Hungarian Dance No. 5. It’s not to be missed!
