Save the Date--NCGE 2023 Annual Conference



Save the date for next year's NCGE conference.  It will be held from October 27-29, 2023 in Columbia, South Carolina.  More information will be posted at https://ncge.org/ throughout the school year.

Texas State University 100% Online Ph.D. and Master's Degrees in Geography Education
 
Texas State University now has 100% Online programs in Geography Education at the Ph.D. and Master's levels.  These programs can prepare teachers for careers in educational research, teaching at all levels, and school district administration.  For more information, see https://www.gradcollege.txstate.edu/programs/geo-ed-phd.html (Ph.D.) or http://mycatalog.txstate.edu/graduate/liberal-arts/geography/geography-geoeducation-mageo/ (Master's).

Missouri Giant Traveling Map Reservations


Interested in renting a Big Map?  Non-profit organizations will be charged a flat fee of $125 to cover shipping (round-trip) and handling.  Maps can be picked-up and returned to our University of Missouri office for a handling fee of $25.  For-profit organizations should contact the MGA for pricing information.  Handling fees will be used to maintain the Big Maps and the variety of geography education tools included in the Big Map containers.  Maps can be checked out for approximately a two week period.

Educators in Boone and Cole counties are eligible, while funding allows, to have free access to the maps thanks to a donation from Missouri Credit Union.  Please contact the MGA office for details.
