Beyond the comfort of conformity

This summer, John Greer Clark, celebrated author, professor, and thought leader in audiology, published the book, Hearing to the Max: Improving Conversations in the Most Difficult Listening Environments

Find out why Clark was motivated to write the book - and learn about one of its key topics: the need for people with hearing loss to escape the comfort of conformity.

“In spite of the fact that we proclaim we value individuality, people go to great lengths to not appear different, to not stand out from the group – to hide their hearing loss.”
