2023 HIC and PIT Data Collection Notice and Upcoming PIT Count Office Hours

Notice CPD-22-12: Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and Point-in-Time (PIT) Count Data Collection for CoC and ESG Programs was posted on October 26, 2022. Additionally, the Technical Assistance (TA) resources associated with the PIT Count Office Hours held on October 27, 2022, are now available on the HUD Exchange PIT Count Office Hours page.

Upcoming Office Hours

PIT Count Office Hours to discuss the Notice will be held on December 7, 2022, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST and January 11, 2023, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST. These sessions will focus on considerations around conducting the 2023 PIT count. The end of each call will be reserved to answer any questions about the 2023 PIT Count.

When entering your details to join the event, the event password, HUD, will auto-fill. The password should not be edited, and if the password does not appear or is accidentally deleted, please enter, HUD, for the event password to join the office hours.

Questions

If your organization, including Tribes or Tribally-Designated Housing Entities, has questions about planning for or implementing the HIC or PIT count, please submit them to HICPITCount@hud.gov.

If you have questions about the TA tools to assist communities with their HIC or PIT counts or how to submit your data in HDX, please submit them via the HUD Exchange Ask a Question (AAQ) Portal. To submit a question, select HDX (AHAR, HIC, LSA, PDX, PIT, Stella, Sys PM) under Reporting Systems.
