Dear Friends,
‘Tis the season to be thankful for all that we have. In that spirit, I realized recently that in all the newsletters I have written I haven’t expressed how grateful I am for my teammates, Meghan and Corrina. Well, that just won’t do, it’s time to show them the love!
My real estate career started as a family business; all I knew was total loyalty and a complete-one-another’s-sentences, closeknit, “in your face” work style. When my mom retired and I had to build my own team, I must have defaulted to that familiar mindset, because Meghan and Corrina are as dedicated and passionate about our client’s goals as if they are family. This dynamic pair also provides a fresh perspective — let’s be honest, they keep me in check — and they are just a lot of fun to work with.
Meghan is incredibly hard working, throwing herself into tasks large and small with equal zeal. She loves solving problems for her clients and ensuring they are always 100% satisfied. Meghan patiently chauffeurs — beware, potential clients, driving is NOT her strong suit! — buyers to dozens of houses before finding just the right one. She has scraped carpet glue off hardwood floors at 9:00 pm the night before a closing, lugged her wet vac to clean up at a flooded listing and even played pet sitter for a client in a pinch. Meghan never lets me — or her clients — down and for that I am beyond thankful.
Corrina is the team’s calming voice and creative mind. She is our marketing expert — running LDT social channels, designing brochures and mailings, spearheading client events and brainstorming ways of giving back to the community — and executes it all with grace and charm. Corrina makes you feel like she’s in your corner and you can’t lose — she tells me I’m funny and pumps me up before client meetings — and has a subtle way of keeping me and Meghan grounded. Everyone loves Corrina. I know I can send her into any client setting and she will thrive. I am so thankful for Corrina’s unique vision and steadfast support.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Meghan and Corrina — and your husbands and kids too — for being such wonderful teammates.
This holiday season may we all take the opportunity to give a shout out to those we are thankful for. We here at LDT are thankful for our family, friends, clients, peers and all who support us in so many ways.
