Happy November Be-Held Woman!

We continue our focus on Christ-centered wellness by looking at what it means to be emotionally well. Emotional wellness
has to do with identifying, exploring, understanding, and managing emotions; making crucial decisions; determining right from wrong, and dealing with guilt in alignment with God’s kingdom rule.

We are emotionally well w
hen our feelings, decisions, sense of right and wrong, and response to the reality of sin in our lives and the world, arise from, and or are managed by, the bedrock of truth of who Jesus Christ is, who we are to Him, and the influence of His person over all our life circumstances.

That's why this month's biblical literacy invitation is to allow God to tell the story. As you read this month's focus Scripture, you will have an opportunity to hear two disciples fumble at making sense of the circumstances surrounding Jesus's death. They see dimly and this has a negative effect on their emotional lives. But God is walking with them. He is present in their conversation. He listens to them tell the story and then He tells the story and performs an ordinary act that puts all the facts of their lives into perspective and sets them on the path to Jerusalem with great joy.  As you read, Luke 24: 13 - 15, NIV,  and all Scripture, invite Him to tell the story. LISTEN to Him tell the story of Scripture, which is His story.

In this week's Heart to Heart I share my own story as told by God, as an invitation for you to not only invite Him to tell you His story in Scripture, but the story He is writing this very moment in your day-to-day lives.

Check out Episode 1 of Season 2 of the Walk It Out Podcast
Welcome to Season 2 of Walk It Out! We are so glad you're here. In our first episode, we explore the topic of Spiritual Wellness from a Christ-centered perspective. We seek truth to answer the questions: What is spiritual wellness? What is the role of God's voice in our spiritual wellness? Who can hear God's voice? How does God speak to us? Why does God speak to us? What should our response be to God's voice? We hope you'll be encouraged and equipped to pursue spiritual wellness by this episode. To make the most of your time with us, we recommend grabbing a notebook and a pen to record the insights that surface in response to the 6 questions we answer in this episode. You'll hear us refer to quite a bit of Scripture, so be sure to note those references and explore what the Word of God has to say for yourself after you've listened. Here are the core Scripture references below to help you get started: John 10: 27 - 28, NLT Ephesians 1: 1 - 14, NLT Psalm 32: 8 - 9, NLT Proverbs 3: 5 - 8, NLT Take care. Bless many.
