Wix users can now manage and edit their meta tags in one place.

I'm incredibly excited to be able to announce new SEO settings released by Wix.

This comes on the back of a series of other significant additions to the Wix suite, including the
Site Inspection tool and Semrush integration, etc., that give Wix users more advanced SEO features that are built into the platform.

What is it, you ask?
Well, the new Wix SEO Settings tool allows users to review and edit their meta tags for each page, as well as their URL slug, indexability, open graph tags, structured data markup, robots meta tags and even more – all from one place in the Wix Dashboard.

The update will allow users to be more efficient and save time when working on their SEO strategy, especially those dealing with larger sites, which we all know can be frustrating.

Wix users can now work faster, smarter, and at scale.
Why does this matter?
This update is significant for Wix users as it solves one of the main SEO pain points for users by offering them an easy and accessible way to get an overview and edit their pages’ meta tags from a singular place.

It provides users with a full picture of all their meta tags and therefore have a better understanding of what they need to improve or customise.

The Wix SEO settings also provides more consistency between Wix’s verticals and different types of pages, therefore stopping users from needing to work on different platforms to edit their SEO settings.
How does it work?
Wix SEO settings are accessible from the SEO Tools section in the Dashboard. It is currently available to English language users and will be gradually rolled out to other languages.

In this section, users are provided with a report of all their site’s meta tags in one place for main pages and product pages. They can click on each page to open an editing panel and customise the meta tags, URL slug, index status, structured data markup and more for the selected page.

The SEO Settings tool helps users apply the same SEO logic to many pages at once. No more will users and SEOs need to edit a single page’s settings; they can now customise the settings that apply to the whole section, folder or collection of pages all at once.

This way, users can create a systematic SEO strategy much quicker and optimise their pages at scale.

This is an exciting update for all Wix users, and I'm excited to see how more users of the platform use these settings to their advantage.
