NPR is just better,” says Logan, a discerning 10-year-old who’s been listening to Public Radio Tulsa since he was in the womb.

“NPR is better,” agrees his mother,
Mindy Lyons. “I trust NPR.”

This mother-son duo listens to Public Radio Tulsa on their morning and afternoon commutes and can even chime in to “Live from _____. This is NPR News.”

Mindy tunes in to stay informed, to hear both sides of a story and to listen to unbiased reporting. She especially values what NPR teaches her son.
I value the unbiased reporting at Public Radio Tulsa!
“I just felt blindsided,” she says, referring to how she knew little about climate change growing up. “I don't want him to feel that way. He’s going to be in this world too. At least now, [he knows that] there is an entire world out there of stuff going on.”

And so, Mindy supports the work that NPR and Public Radio Tulsa journalists do to keep her, and her son, informed with unbiased news.
“I just feel like [listener-funded journalism] is the only unbiased way to have the news.”
