Our Chamber is supporting Central Coast Council’s plan for the revitalisation of the Gosford waterfront as a significant step forward and an opportunity that is ready to happen to firmly establish both the gateway to the Central Coast and the City of Gosford.

The opportunity that exists for economic growth, lifestyle improvement and the establishment of a clear destination for locals, national and international visitors can not be underestimated as part of this waterfront improvement.

The Gosford Erina Business Chamber commends Central Coast Council's release of this concept plan and pathway and can provide continued support and proposals on specific adjoining matters (eg: transport and parking), as well as a communication forum to all business groups as this plan progresses.

The GEBC is pleased to hear action is now being taken on the long term moorings at this public asset.
GEBC first raised this with the previous Administrator some time ago and has since then been liaising with Council, local business and maritime on the state of disrepair of vessels around the Gosford Wharf.
Follow up earlier this year with CEO of Council has now seen the GEBC focus of improving this significant part of Gosford being addressed, and will be available to all community to access in the future.
