December is finally here and we have two big events this month. First, I am thrilled that our children's musical is this Sunday, December 4. My daughters continue to say they love being a part of it. I've been watching the kids practice and can't believe how nice it is. I truly want to thank Bethany Hartman and Barb Geiger for all the time they have invested into this ministry. Also, I am looking forward to our Annual Meeting. We have important matters to discuss as a congregation as we plan our yearly budget, discuss business matters, and elect our leaders. However, I pray that this Annual Meeting will be covered in prayer and be a moment where we discuss the future of our church. I'd love to ask everyone who is reading this letter to stop and pray for our church and our annual meeting. Pray for the meeting itself, our leadership, our budget, and those who will be speaking at this meeting. (Here is a link to our annual reports.)

Casting Vision for 2023 - Wednesday, December 7
The evening will begin at 5:30 with a meal in the family life center. Chicken and mashed potatoes will be provided. Please bring a dish or two to share.

Thank you P astor Norm for your service to Beulah Missionary! See Pastor Kelley's note about Pastor Norm in the bulletin. Pastor Norm plans to relinquish his role at the end of 2022. Beulah wants to send Pastor Norm and Linda off with the BIGGEST of thank yous. On December 18, after church, we plan to celebrate at the coffee bar that Pastor Norm put so much work into. On that day we plan to celebrate with coffee, hot chocolate, hot cider, and cupcakes. We'd also like you to shower Pastor Norm and Linda with notes of encouragement, thank you cards, and gift cards. We want to do everything we can to honor Pastor Norm's and Linda's service to our beautiful church family.

 Senior Connect Christmas Lunch
All seniors, 65 and older, are invited to the small fellowship hall on Thursday, December 8 at noon for a holiday lunch. Ham and potatoes will be furnished. Please sign up with Pastor Norm and he will let you know what you need to bring.

 All of the staff at Beulah Church would like to thank our wonderful congregation for supporting staff appreciation month. Your notes of encouragement, gifts, and gift cards are greatly appreciated. We cannot thank you enough.

Note: Due to the day that New Year's falls on, the last Sunday to give and have it appear on your 2022 giving statement is December 25, Christmas Day. You may also give online through December 31. If you send a check through the mail, it must be postmarked by December 31 to appear on this year's statement. (The church office will be closed between Christmas and New Year's.)

New Year's Day SpecialThere will be no Sunday School on New Year's Day. But come a little early for food and fellowship. We will have donuts and fruit at the cafe along with coffee and drinks beginning at 9:45. Come fellowship with us and then start the year off right with worship!

Please note that the church office will be closed from December 23 through January 2. If you have an urgent need, please contact Pastor Kelley or Pastor Greg.

Winter is Here
If winter brings snow or ice so severe that we need to cancel services, a notice will be sent out on Remind (prayer chain) and on Facebook that we are canceling services. We will also post on WNDU and WSBT TV stations that we are closed. Please check these places to confirm whether or not we are having church in bad weather.
