Accreditation Renewal is now open!

The new accreditation renewal process has been simplified for the 2022/23 season and is officially open for you and your club to continue committing to be one of the best places to play and enjoy football in Greater Manchester.

If your club reaccredits before the 23rd of December, you will be entered into a prize draw to WIN a bag of Nike footballs and set of bibs for your club!

We’ve pulled together everything you need to renew your Clubs England Football Accreditation status.

Manchester FA County Cup updates

Last week, The Frank Hannah Premier Cup quarter final round came to a conclusion with four teams booking their place in the semi final. We were at Wythenshawe Town as they took on FC United of Manchester for our tie of the round with the live stream of the match available to watch on our streaming platform, eleven.

This Sunday, the Women’s Challenge Cup Quarter final ties will also be concluded with Cheadle Town Stingers Development taking on West Didsbury and Chorlton.

Elsewhere, Chadderton Reserves and Manchester Central both sealed a place in the Saturday Challenge Final in which they will take on each other to decide who will be the 2022/23 winner of the competition. 

Rushford Park and Dom Doyle will also compete in the Sunday Challenge Shield Final after emphatic wins in their semi final ties.

Congratulations to all four teams for making the final!

On the 26th of November we attended the Manchester Sports Awards which was ran by MCR active. We were delighted to win the 'Event of the Year' award for the work undergone during the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.

The Manchester FA County Cup Surveys – Complete for your chance to win £250 for your club or league!

Throughout the 2022/23 playing season, Manchester FA will, in conjunction with our Competitions Working Group, be completing the largest ever review of all of our current competition offers and this is where you come in! 

We are asking all club officials, league officials and players to provide their thoughts and opinions on our current competitions so we can ensure they remain fit for the future and an integral part of the Grassroots Football landscape across Greater Manchester.

DBS Verification

We have upcoming DBS verification events to support clubs and leagues who do not have qualified Welfare Officers in place. Our next available dates are: 

Monday 12th December 2022: 4pm-6pm National Squash Centre , Gate 13 Etihad Campus, Rowsley Street, Manchester M11 3FF
