Prototype Testing Days on the Lake
|
|
The Epoch Boats team has been spending a lot of time on a Pennsylvania lake performance testing with our prototype boat equipped with a Torqeedo Cruise 6.0 electric outboard motor. As part of our performance testing, we're doing a comparative analysis with and without our hydrofoil system on our prototype boat, and will be conducting more trials with different motors to offer customers choice on motor performance & price.
Performance results are not final as we continue to optimize our hull and foil system, but we're excited to share a new video of our prototype testing days on the lake in PA!

This past month we participated in several pitch events to share our business plan with partners, investors and the entrepreneur community.
- PACT 2022 - We were selected as a featured technology company and presented at the Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) 2022 Capital Conference.
- PCI - University of Pennsylvania's PCI Ventures held a "What's in the Works" meet-up where we were a featured presenter.

Manufacturing Bootcamp
This month, Epoch participated in the For ClimateTech Manufacturing Bootcamp, a week-long workshop focused on optimizing manufacturing to quickly scale up climate tech hardware innovations like us.
