A&F Winter Celebration Open House

Join us on Dec. 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Exhibition Hall’s Midtown Ballroom for a festivus for the rest of us. Come dressed in your ugly sweater and don your festive socks – judging will begin at 4 p.m. We look forward to seeing you!

Herazy to Join A&F Leadership Team in Interim Role

Jennifer Herazy, associate vice president for Strategy and Administration, Academics, and Research, has accepted an interim appointment to join the Administration and Finance (A&F) leadership team as the interim deputy chief business officer for A&F effective Dec. 1. Jennifer’s institutional knowledge will help advance many strategic initiatives in A&F designed to improve operational excellence across campus, especially during this period of leadership transition in A&F. Skye Duckett, Georgia Tech’s vice president and chief human resources officer, is one of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2022 class of emerging leaders in Atlanta. The publication recognizes rising stars who are making a mark in their industries and leading in their communities.

Operation Sustainability

October was Campus Sustainability Month, but Georgia Tech is committed year-round to sustainable campus operations. Departments within Infrastructure and Sustainability such as landscape services, custodial services, recycling, and fleet management continually strive to innovate and incorporate sustainable products and practices. I&S Earns Top Ranking in Annual Compliance Training

Congrats to Infrastructure and Sustainability (I&S) for leading the campus with a 92% completion rate in this year’s Annual Compliance Training – placing I&S at the top of the heap for overall department completion to date!

As a reminder, the 2022 Annual Compliance Training ends at midnight on Dec. 19. Employees are required to complete all seven of the training modules by this date. Employees who do not fully complete the requirements by midnight on Dec. 19 may receive a formal disciplinary notice from the Institute. Read more.

Improvements to the Kessler Campanile Energize Core Campus

Staff Advisors Needed for Alternative Service Break Next Spring

Alternative Service Breaks is hosting their annual Spring Break trip, March 18-25, 2023, and is in need of two advisors for each trip (New Orleans, LA and Dominican Republic).

Advisors’ costs will be covered but must be full-time, exempt employees. Contact Jayde Nelson at JNelson324@gatech.edu to complete an Advisor Agreement. Applications are due January 27.

Voting Resources for Georgia's Runoff Election
