VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
St. Paul’s needs your help in several areas. These volunteer positions are extremely important and an opportunity to be part of something special. Contact the school if you are interested in any of these essential opportunities.

Raider Events Committee Chairperson - St. Paul’s Lutheran School is looking for a WELS or ELS person interested in becoming the chair of our Raider Events Committee. This position is critical for planning and organizing fellowship events for St. Paul’s families and staff.

Moving School Risers—Help is needed on Monday, December 19 to move the risers that are used for the children's Christmas Eve Service. The risers are stored at 126 S. Payne St., and we need to move them to the church. Meet at 3:30 pm at the school on Monday, December 19. Contact the school or church if you can help or if you have any questions.

Yearbook—The yearbook is done online through our photographer, Strawbridge. The online software is simple to use and the pictures will be taken for you. We just need someone with an eye to put the yearbook together.

Labels Program—St. Paul’s collects labels and receipts. The volunteer for this program will cut, count, and prepare a mailing. The result is extra money for the school. The extra money is used directly for the benefit of the students, 100%.

Remove Old Bleachers—We will be getting NEW bleachers over Christmas break. We need your help on December 26-27 starting at 7 am. Door holders, board carrying, removing nuts and bolts, etc. All ages! Call Mark Wiehert at (608)712-8218 for info.
CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS
St. John's Youth Group will be hosting Christmas for Kids on December 3rd for grades PreK4-5th from 9am to 11:30. Doors will be open at 8:30 for registration and an early craft.
DECEMBER MOVIE NIGHT
Our December movie night is for EVERYONE, but we are doing a special invite to our younger St. Paul's Preschool students and the students at the MLC ECLC. This is a sweet movie for all to enjoy! As usual, we will have pizza and concessions for sale. Everyone is encouraged to bring a chair, blankets and pillows to be comfortable! Movie Night will be Saturday, December 10, at 4:30 PM in the St. Paul's School gym. We hope to see many of you there - bring a friend!
THANK YOU!
Parents,
The faculty is grateful for the support and kindness they received from you! During the Parent/Teacher Conferences, the faculty enjoyed a catered supper between their conference visits.
We all want to say "Thank you" for the amazing meal.
CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS FUNDRAISER
We have St. Paul’s Lutheran School Christmas Ornaments for sale at the school during Advent. The ornament is a traditionally shaped sphere that is blue in color. Stop by and take a look if you are interested.

Each ornament will be sold for $5. The money all goes toward the Capital Campaign for the school.
BAND CONCERT
All are invited to the St. Paul School Band Concert on Thursday, December 15, at 7:00 pm in the gymnasium. The Raider Band and the Junior Band will perform along with some smaller ensembles. Come and join us!
GET TO KNOW OUR TEACHERS
Each of the teachers has provided some fun and unique facts about himself/herself. We plan to share this information so that you can make your own guess as to who might have experienced these three fun facts.

Share your thoughts on the Raider Events Committee Facebook page. We will publish the identity of the mystery teacher on the Facebook page as well.
CHRISTMAS PRESERVICE MUSIC SIGNUP
November is upon us and so is the time to start thinking about music for Christmas Eve. Each year, the students from St. Paul’s Church play the pre-service music for the two Children’s Christmas Eve Services. This year we are again looking for St. Paul’s students in grades 3-8 that are interested in playing. You can play any instrument that you are taking lessons on. (piano, band instrument, guitar, violin…) You can do a solo or get a small group together to play. If you are from St. Paul’s Church and are interested in playing, please go to the School office and pick up a form from Mrs. Miller. You must fill out the form and hand it to Mr. Biedenbender to be allowed to play. All forms are to be returned NO LATER than December 13. Please contact Mr. Biedenbender if you have any questions. Thank you!

Once again, the St. John's piano and instrumental students have the opportunity to praise God with their music by playing preservice music either on Sunday, December 18, before the 11:00 a.m. Sunday School Christmas Service or on Saturday, December 24, before the 4:00 p.m. Children's Christmas Eve Service. Forms with the guidelines can be picked up from Mrs. Balza in her classroom or in the narthex at St. John's church. Forms should be submitted by Dec. 7. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Balza. Thank you!

Hope to see you and your family there!
