Quality Services for Children and Families

Start Early Washington’s 2023 legislative and budget priorities focus on the continued implementation and rollout of the Fair Start for Kids Act and prioritize equitable access to quality services for young children and their families. Their state policy resource page is a great reference to bookmark key early learning policy and advocacy documents. 

Advocacy Week is Quickly Approaching!

WCFC Advocacy Week is scheduled for Jan. 30 - Feb. 3, 2023. Connect with your local representatives to communicate the importance of the WCFC network! COMMUNITY EVENTS

Parents Place is offering Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears in December. This four week class focuses on parental anger, children's anger, calming techniques, appropriate discipline, and more. Class starts Tuesday December 6 from 6-8pm. $20/$25 per week, adjustable if needed. No childcare available. If you do not have other arrangements for your children and need to bring them to class, bring them enough food for two hours and something to keep them busy. Call 360-414-9212, text 360-665-8604,
