The Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is the world's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of uncrewed systems and robotics. Representing corporations and professionals from more than 60 countries involved in industry, government, and academia, AUVSI members work in the defense, civil and commercial markets. Want to get involved or know someone who does? Now is your chance!
- Get Connected - Build your database of “go to” people in the industry that will help you expand your business and advance your career.
- Get Informed - Access industry best practices and specific ways to capitalize on uncrewed systems market opportunities.
- Get Involved - Contribute to the unified voice of uncrewed systems as we advocate for policies and regulations that encourage industry growth and innovation.
Calls for nominations for our officer elections will be open until December 16th, with elections held online from December 19th – January 6th.
Available Positions & Duties:
- President: The president is the principal officer and is responsible for the leadership and management of the Chapter and its activities by the policies and procedures of AUVSI and our chapter bylaws. The President presides over all Chapter meetings, proposes policies and practices, sits on various committees, monitors the performance of Directors and Officers, submits multiple reports to the board and other "stakeholders" as needed.
- Vice President: The vice president presides at meetings and attends committees (as needed) in the absence of the President, assists in managing the Chapter, and performs other duties that the President may assign.
- Secretary: The Secretary keeps the minutes of all Chapter meetings, maintains the chapter's records, submits any proposed amendment(s) to the bylaws to the board of directors, and other duties as assigned by the President.
- Treasurer: The Treasurer pays all bills, maintains the Chapter's financial records, collects and disburses all Chapter funds, makes reports on the financial condition of the Treasury at each regular quarterly meeting, prepares the Chapter's Annual Financial Report for presentation to the Chapter, and other duties as assigned by the President.
