To commemorate Kindertransport Day (December 1st), we will have Janet Merkur, Immediate Past Co-President, Co-Vice President National NCJWA, tenured educator, author and our executive board member to give us a talk on The Kindertransport: Rescue of 10,000 children. Our young adult division, Empower Her, is excited to be partnering with JNFuture (JNF’s young adult division) for a Shabbat dinner next Friday!
Come along for some (Kosher) Italian food and to meet other likeminded young adults in the Sydney Jewish community.
For every ticket sold, $2 will be donated to Roim Rachok by Empower Her. Roim Rachok is an organisation that supports and trains young Israeli adults on the autism spectrum, giving them the skills necessary to serve their country as part of the IDF and to lead a self-sufficient life thereafter.
