Vico & Katy in Costa Rica

"Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."
Php 1:3–6

Translating the Bible

“Bible translation work in my language is my training, and I'm very thankful for it. Through translating the Scriptures, I get to know the Bible well and, as a pastor, can preach it to the people in my village so that they can understand it. Through the work of Bible translation, many people throughout my language group have become Christians.” Pita - Pastor and Bible translator to the Pinai-Hagahai language group.

Working

We have been visiting many churches and friends, sometimes three events per weekend, still are a lot of friends we haven't seen due to our busy schedule since we also have to follow Isaí's  schedule.

It's been a privilege to share with friends and churches what God has been doing in PNG. Also we have seen more people who want to be involved in praying, giving and also considering going.

Medical checks

We are having good results on the medical tests we have done so far. Katy had to raise up the doses for her thyroid medication and she has to start taking high blood pressure medication.
We still need to visit the dentist, check for eye glasses and some other checks.

School

Isaí turned 14 last October. He is in eight grade and is homeschooling. He is in swimming and music classes. He is attending band and orchestra rehearsals playing the French Horn.
He is also attending a youth group in a church close to our house.

Finances

We need to raise our support in order to return to PNG in June next year. Our goal is to raise $1000 more per month than what we already have and our plan is to find 100 people willing to give $10 per month. We already have 10% raised.

Another birthday

Last August Katy turned 40 years old and we celebrated it with friends. We praise God for the blessing she is for our family and many people around the world.

Join our team!

To be able to return to PNG in June 2023 we need to raise our monthly support.
Our plan is to find 100 people who give $10 per month.
(This amount can change depending on people possibilities)
Christmas season remind us when Jesus came to show how much the Father loves us. We pray that this Christmas you can feel the love of God and share it with those close to you and those in need.
Merry Christmas!
