MARLENE ANNE WHISTON (née MacLeod)
June 25, 1934 - October 10, 2022

 
Marlene's life was well-lived. She was a teacher, homemaker and then became a United Church minister. She lived in many medium and smaller communities in Ontario (including Sturgeon Falls, Elliott Lake, Flinton, Port Hope), Nova Scotia (Halifax, Lunenburg, Grand River, Upper Stewiacke), New Brunswick (New Mills) and Alberta (Delburne). Marlene leaves her four siblings, husband of 64 years, four children and eight grandchildren after many adventures and the exchange of lots of love. Fond memories of her: pink hair, trips to Iran, red electric guitar, baby lamb, time in a penitentiary and many other experiences.
