From all of us, at AEC, have a wonderful holiday season!

We know that for many families, this can be the busiest time of year. Our hope is that you can take a moment during all hustle and bustle to reflect in silence and just breathe. We appreciate you making the time to share this season with us. Horses have a way of keeping us grounded.

The Moment You’ve been Waiting for…the Gift List!

Not sure what to get your child (or yourself!) for Christmas? Check out the below list of perfect items for your rider. You can't go wrong!

ITEMS REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS:

  1. ASTM certified horse riding helmet (Ovation is a great brand, so is Troxel)

  2. English style ankle height paddock boots (these come in summer and winter insulated versions!)

  3. Saddleseat/boot cut jodpurs in black, brown, navy, gray (or custom) (some places carry summer or winter versions) Pants must cover the top of the boots. Some riding tights can also work.

  4. Tie downs/underpasses. Many students seem to be in need. These items only cost a few dollars. They are important for rider comfort and help protect the saddle. In addition, showing without tie downs looks very sloppy! Please consider getting your rider a few sets. )

  5. Students who show will need their own stirrup leathers and sometimes, saddle. This is also strongly encouraged for very serious students.
