Trifari Sterling Apostrophe 'eyebrow' pin, from a 1946 Vogue advert, and patented series, based on a Van Cleef pin (seen on the page, worn on a Schiaparelli 'eye hat')... striking 1953 MB Boucher, invisibly set sapphires and Blue Moonstones pin clip and earrings set, also available separately... and in research news, the Patriotic US Army Band Hat from last week's update (thumbnail linked above) now has a patent... which confirmed the estimated 1940 date - and adds Coro as maker, and Marion Weeber as designer...
