What would you write to your loved ones if you were imprisoned and everything seemed bleak? Would you still feel like celebrating Advent - or Christmas? In this first video Advent devotional below, Pastor Brett shares (from Kate Bowler's Advent devotional, "season of waiting,") excerpts from Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Advent reflections, and invites you to consider how you feel and see these things in your life.
